New Ice consists of small pouch-style “ice cubes” (approx. 45 per package), each pouch is constructed from an FDA-approved high purity polyethylene film filled with approx. 20ml of laboratory certified pure water. Frozen New Ice provides a great alternative to conventional ice. The pouches are durable, washable, and refreezable. New Ice may be added to a warm liquid to cause rapid chilling and there is no accompanying dilution of the liquid as the water inside the pouches melts. New Ice is great for keeping samples cold. No liquid mess is created to clean up.
